What is elac?

Each California public school, grades kindergarten through 12, with 21 or more English learners must form an English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC) with parent members elected by parents or guardians of EL’s in the same percentage membership as their children represent in the student body.

Please note that ALL ELAC agendas must submitted to the EL Coordinator one week prior to meeting.

  • Meeting Minutes and Sign in Sheets must be submitted to the EL Coordinator within 24 hours of the meeting date.

    • Due to Covid -19 School closures, recorded Zoom meetings will take place of the sign-in sheets.
